Has the good member of the House of Lords done a scientific study of the promiscuous nurses?
Has he had personal involvement in the matter?
In order to serve the British public should British MP’s try to lay a nurse?
The sex life of nurses, or Lords, or anyone else is not something fitting for a government official commenting on unless it is causing a public problem.
Virginity is supposed to be a requirement to become a Catholic Nun, but I never heard of it being a requirement for nurses.
And,, Simon, if the nurses have to be chaste what about the doctors?

Lord Mancroft’s study appears to have been a single hospital admission. I certainly think he’s come across as a bit nutty - his points are all in the wrong places.

I think the promiscuity of nurses is irrelevant, as long as they are professional and efficient on the wards. Really, he should be complaining about the lack of professionalism in this case, rather than what he learned through it.

He has quite a good point in there somewhere… it just seems to have got lost amongst his blatant insults.

The British politicians tendency to be involved with -er-ahm-promiscuous women reminds me of an incident on your side of the pond back in the 1960’s.
A police officer in Brooklyn, New York’s 67th precinct had an ex-wife who was involved in some sex with a high ranking MP.
Turned out she was an East German spy.
Mike the cop had met her while he was a soldier in Germany married her and brought her home with him.
Apparently your MP’s are not as hard to please sexually as our police.
The MP was obsessed by her.
Mike Munsinger told me she was “good, but not really great, in bed.”.
Yes, the woman was Gurda Munsinger.
As far as your nurses, I think they may have come up with a way to save the medical service some money.
It would be a lot less expensive for old codgers like myself to have a romp with one of the ladies then go through the series of heart examinations involving the multi million dollar test machines.
If one comes out of it a bit out of breath, but still kicking (or whatever it is they were doing) the heart is okay.
And if one drops dead on top of the nurse, well he at least died happy.
I was happy having spent my life as a photojournalist, but now I wish I had gone to England and become a doctor.
I always miss all the fun.
