This picture shows the Goldcraft jewellers, located within a Morrisons store near me. A jewellers in a supermarket seems a little odd to me – perhaps it did to others, too, explaining why its shutters were down today.

This is the Killingworth Centre, in the centre of Killingworth, built in 2000. As this picture shows, it’s not the most happening place on a Saturday night, but it was certainly a quiet time to get the groceries!

Stock management really doesn’t seem to be Asda’s strong point… which can make shopping there a somewhat frustrating experience. I often wonder about the extent to which this is due to not having an equivalent of Tesco’s Crucible database, and how much is due to a straightforward lack of high quality stock management systems.
