Saddam Hussein has been executed
Breaking news in the last few minutes that a 71 year-old grandfather has been filmed being barbarically killed using an ancient method of state killing after a highly criticised show trial in an unstable country. This is, apparently, ‘justice’.
And this from the side of the angels? Oh, how they’ve fallen.

I suppose hanging him was the way to go, so far as the officials were concerned. I think more would have been done had he been allowed to use his influence to try to curb the wholesale killings going on in that God-forsaken country of Iraq.
On the other hand-now that he is dead- I hope he does go to his Valhalla-but instead of 70 virgins- I hope he spends eternity with my ex-wives.

Only kidding… I’m against capital punishment, but don’t propose to have much of a better idea in the circumstances… If I wasn’t me, I’d probably be criticising me!

No, I don’t have 70 ex wives. It sometimes seemed like that when I had to pay for the results of my mistakes, though. I only have 2-ex wives.
Joyce was a witch. She divorced me because I could not spel.
Linda is now 60. She replaced me (I am now 63) with a 23 year old. Enough said about that.
If you don’t get it right the first or second time, keep trying.
Current wife Dorothy is a retired schoolteacher. She is a good Christian wife.
Her I want to keep.
The first two I will gladly give Saddam.

As a medical student you must know what it is like to run out of cough syrup in the middle of the night.
A few nights ago this happened to my wife and the only thing we had in the house was the cough stuff the vet prescribed for our dog.
Since wife was really feeling badly, I gave it to her.
It worked-stopped the cough-but a short while later she bit my leg.
It could have been worse.
She kept looking at the fire hydrant in the yard…..
