This is a bad idea in that it will harm the donation rate, and a generally strange way of doing things – the rights of the donor, who is donating out of his own generosity, are being taken away, in favour of the child who is, essentially, indebted to the donor.
It seems a strange state of affairs to me.

This is really the only story today, with everything else just slotting around it. It’s clearly a very distressing story, to see a frail old man dying in such a public way. But it really seems too early to be commenting on a man’s death when it has yet to occur, so I’ll say no more on the subject for now.
