Correction regarding comments

For a short time yesterday, the site decreed that almost all the comments on the site were from me. This wasn’t because I’d developed a multiple personality, it was because I misplaced an exclamation mark in some of the coding behind the site, and then didn’t notice for a little while. I don’t know if anyone noticed, but this is just a quick note to apologise to those who did. All comments are now attributed correctly.

Sorry for not keeping up!

Sorry to all of you who’ve posted comments recently that I’ve not yet had chance to respond to. I do read all comments that come in (yep, even the really long ones), and I try my best to respond to most of them – I’ve just got a little bit behind recently. I will try harder.

Gordon Brown is the next Prime Minister

Gordon Brown has enough nominations to ensure that he will not face a challenger for the Labour leadership. So now he has to fight a six-week election against, erm, nobody. To me, that seems a bit silly. But maybe that’s why I’m not a politician.

Favourite text

My favourite ever text came into 60300 last night: Presumably in response to this story, the anonymous respondent sent “Simon mate. Get out the 80s”. I sort of see where he or she is coming from, but that’s a message sent from a mobile phone to a blog claiming I’m stuck in the 80s. Oh, the irony.
