My computer crashed and had to be brought back from the dead. It took a call to HP in India, but I am back.
I thought we had the last of the “surprises” in our new home/ Boy, was I wrong.
Last night I got up to pee about 2 in the morning. By the dim glow of the bathroom night light I thought I saw something in the bowl. At first I thought it was just someone had forgotten to flush. But then the thing started to crawl out of the water and up the inside of the bowl. I quickly slammed the lid.
This woke my wife up.
We peeked into the bowl and saw a bat the size of a large frog trying to climb out.
I quickly slammed the lid shut again and flushed several times/
When we got up the courage to again open the lid the bat had been sent down the pipes.
It is a good thing my wife did not have to pee first because she might have been bitten on her behind.
She has told me if I don’t get rid of all bats she will refuse to use the toilets and will go potty outside.
I don’t know how to get rid of bats.
Perhaps I can get an exterminator with balls.
