The three tickets remind me of an incident several years ago in Denver, Colorado.
A cop who had been assigned to patrol a Denver Broncos football game parked his private car in the wrong spot.
It was ticketed and towed away.
One of my client newspapers used a photo I took of him grimly looking at the ticket and ran the caption: tis better to give then to receive.

And, as it happens, I was going to do an elective in Denver, but it never quite worked out.
