About me

The blog’s going to need a new strapline…

Doctor\'s Badge

After five years, four homes, eleven housemates, seventy assessments, nine weeks in Canada, litres of sweat, countless tears, innumerable smiles, and a large dose of hard work, I was utterly overwhelmed today by receipt of the news that I’ve somehow successfully qualified as a doctor.

I guess the real work starts in August, when I take up my Foundation Doctor post.

Well… congratulations! It’s going to be sad to see the old strapline go, but such is life…

Many congratulations again, and the very best of luck for your future.

Dr. Simon!! Sounds good. You worked hard for it.
Sorry I have not contributed for awhile. my own health has required many doctors. Kidneys are going-I go in for a fistula Thursday so they can do dialysis if necessary.
I got my electric chair about a month ago.
It will give me a new career.
I am going to be a hit man.
For a small fee I will run over the toes of people you don’t like.
Perhaps I can go to the UK and my super doctor friend Simon can make me whole again.
Wishful thinking.
I know you will be a good doctor.
Good luck on a long successful career.
Just never forget us little people when you become famous.
Mort

Thanks for your comments!

Mort – I hope the op goes well for you. In my experience, having an AV fistula results in endless fascination from medical students all wanting to feel it…

Good luck in your hit man career… and I’ll certainly not forget you when I’m famous!
